Retake’s website is a fully responsive platform built in Framer to showcase the studio’s work with clarity and focus. Subtle motion and a calm design system support the storytelling, creating an experience that feels crafted without drawing attention away from the films and imagery. I led the site development with creative direction from Roisin O’Regan and input from the full team.

The early sketches served as a loose brainstorming tool, helping shape ideas around flow, pacing, and structure before any screens were designed. They allowed us to explore how the site should feel, how content should move, and how the overall experience could support the work rather than compete with it.

The site is built around a calm, intentional visual system. Motion is gentle, spacing is generous, and each element is shaped to highlight the studio’s films, photography, and storytelling. The design remains quiet so the work can speak clearly.

The layout adapts fluidly across desktop, tablet, and mobile. Content reorganises cleanly, video scales smoothly, and the experience maintains the same sense of clarity on every screen.
